Kill the Music

Reviews for Kill the Music

'This is one of the few books I have read that I couldn't put down! You are constantly on the edge of your seat, dying to know what will happen in the end, and I mean DYING! Rating: 10/10' - Grace, Adelaide Advertiser

'The book isn’t normally something I would have picked up from the blurb, but I’m really glad I got the chance to read it because I ended up loving it! Nansi Kunze is a skilled writer and never did I find that the novel was too young or immature. The way she wraps the combination of Lorna’s surreal life, trying to be normal, while throwing in enough about the mystery was skillful. My nose was glued to the novel from start to finish as the elements of mystery, romance and humour were so perfectly balanced ... I found Kill the Music to be thoroughly entertaining and real, and would recommend it to YA lovers everywhere.' - Jeann at Happy Indulgence. This was a fun, quick romp. I enjoyed the banter between the band members. Nansi Kunze has a knack with creating tension and writing likeable characters. This would be perfect for those in the Northern Hemisphere to take on a summer vacation, or just read in a warm sunny spot. - Bel, www.burnbright.com.au

'It’s a sort of mystery, contemporary, romance, action, almost even a bit spy-ish, and all these elements together makes for one hell of a book. I think the fact that Lorna is just a normal girl who struggles with classes and making friends and annoying older brothers (something that I have very much in common in Lorna) is what makes her such an amazing main character. At the same time, she is so very badass- let me ask you this, how many teenage girls do you know that will try and take down a killer to save her brother and his friends? This story is just amazing. Both the plot and the characters are as important and fun as the other... And as for that ending...well...*heart melts*.' - Ely, A Book So Fathomless This is an excerpt of Ely's awesome review - read the whole thing at http://abooksofathomless.blogspot.com.au/2013/11/review-kill-music-by-nansi-kunze.html !

'Lorna is a totally likeable character in this pacey young adult thriller with plenty of glamour, and a nail-biting finish.' - Samantha Allender, South Coast Register
